What ENZ Makes

ENZ manufactures sewer jetting nozzles primarily for the European market, with distribution in North America through select dealers. Their lineup includes rotating nozzles, penetrating nozzles, and chain cutters — a similar category structure to the KEG line we carry.

Efficiency rating

ENZ does not publish NASSCO Tier efficiency ratings for their consumer-facing nozzles. KEG's Cleaning and Traction family are NASSCO Tier 3 rated at 80%+ efficiency — independently verified, publicly stated. The Royal tops out at 98%, the Torpedo at 97%.

This matters in practice: a higher-efficiency nozzle clears the line in fewer passes. The claim we stand behind is that KEG nozzles pass through on the first try, where cheap nozzles take 3–4 passes.

Replaceable inserts

This is the biggest real-world difference.

ENZ nozzles are primarily solid-body designs — when the jets wear out, you replace the nozzle. At $80–$150+ per nozzle and a typical professional wear rate of one nozzle every 2–4 weeks on heavy rotation, that adds up fast.

KEG's insert-ready nozzles work differently. The body stays on your hose. The jets wear? You swap the insert — ceramic or steel — for $8 to $45 depending on the model. Ceramic inserts carry a 5-year warranty. Steel inserts carry 3 years.

Over a year, replacing inserts at roughly $25 average versus replacing full nozzles at roughly $100 average puts the insert path around 75% lower per year of operation.
