Sewer Jetter Nozzle Guide: Choose by Machine, Job & Kit

Choose by the work, then confirm the machine.

Choose by the work, then confirm the machine.

Compare the Starter, Essentials and Cleaning + Traction kits by connection, included tools and case option. Have a kit already? Add the nozzle that fills an opening, cleaning or finishing gap.

Compare existing kits · Check equipment fit

Choose a sewer jetter nozzle by the job, your machine and the pipe. For a plumber buying a first loadout, a matched nozzle kit gives you a starting point. If your truck already carries the basics, add the individual nozzle that fills a specific gap: opening a blockage, moving debris, or finishing the pipe before inspection.

Start with five equipment details

  • Flow in GPM: the water your jetter supplies at its working setting.
  • Operating pressure in PSI: check the exact nozzle rating alongside the machine and hose limits.
  • Hose inside diameter and length: both affect the water delivery available at the nozzle.
  • Nozzle connection: confirm size and thread type. A 1/4-inch connection is not a 1/4-inch pipe rating.
  • Pipe and job: diameter, material, condition, access and what needs to be removed.

Machine names and connection size alone do not establish compatibility. A nozzle must be configured for the available flow and pressure. Send these details to Jetter Pro Supply before ordering if the correct configuration is unclear.

Shop by connection size

1/4-inch nozzles · 3/8-inch nozzles · 1/2-inch nozzles · 3/4-inch nozzles · 1-inch nozzles · 1-1/4-inch nozzles

Check each exact model's flow, pressure and pipe range. Different sizes within the same nozzle family can have different jet patterns, inserts and operating limits.

Match each tool to its part of the job

What you need What to compare Where to start
Open a blockage A suitable penetrating configuration, matched to the obstruction and pipe condition Penetrating nozzle guide
Clean and move debris A cleaning or flushing tool with appropriate flow and rear-jet pattern Cleaning nozzle guide
Grease and drain maintenance A tool for the deposit, plus a plan to remove loosened material Grease and drain nozzles
Roots and hard blockages Penetration, cutting and debris removal as separate needs Root and blockage nozzles
Finish before the camera A finishing nozzle after bulk debris and obstructions have been addressed Rotor finishing guide
Scale and mineral deposits Specialist equipment approved for that pipe material and condition Duce application limits

The KEG Rotor is a finishing tool used before camera inspection. It does not replace the earlier cleaning and debris-removal work. The Duce has a separate application limit: do not use it in clay pipe or damaged pipe. Read the exact product instructions before selecting a specialist tool.

Should you buy a kit or individual nozzles?

Choose a kit when you are equipping a truck or want complementary tools together. Compare the actual contents, connection sizes, available configurations and case options. A higher piece count alone does not tell you whether a kit covers the work you do.

Choose an individual nozzle when you know which part of your current setup needs improvement or you need a replacement. Match it to the tools and machine already on the truck. Start with starter kits, compare the full plumber kit range, or browse individual nozzles.

Why spend more on a nozzle?

The useful comparison is the cost of completing a job: crew time, passes through the line, setup changes and wear parts. A nozzle chosen for the deposit and matched to the machine can help avoid spending time with the wrong tool. Actual time savings depend on the job; a higher price by itself does not establish better results.

Track time from setup to completed cleaning on comparable jobs. Note the machine settings, blockage, nozzle sequence and inspection result. For insert-ready models, include the cost of replacing compatible inserts in the comparison. Factory-drilled models do not automatically offer that maintenance option. Use the ROI calculator with your own costs and measured results.
