3/8" Jetter Nozzles — The Residential Service Standard
3/8" NPT is the most common size on residential and light-commercial jetters — cart and small trailer machines in the 4–12 GPM range working 2"–6" lines: kitchen stacks, floor drains, laterals and small mains. Every KEG 3/8" nozzle here is jetted to order for your machine's GPM, so the thrust and wall force are what the engineering intends — not a compromise drilling.
This size carries true NASSCO Tier 3 options: the Cleaning Nozzle (80%+ efficiency, 15°/25° alternating jets — the everyday workhorse) and the Traction Nozzle for pulling hose up long or steep runs. Around them: the Rambo — the hardest-hitting penetrator in its class for roots and packed blockages — plus Egg and Egg Devastator, Rotor for grease, Sewer Flush for debris transport, Duce for hardened scale, and economical Ball / Standard / Quattro forward-jet options.
Choosing: a Cleaning + a penetrator (Rambo or forward-jet Quattro) covers most service calls; add a Rotor if grease is your bread and butter. Not sure a 3/8" is right? Machines under ~4 GPM want 1/4"; trailer jetters 8 GPM and up usually run 1/2". Why insert construction beats drilled nozzles: the NASSCO Tier 3 guide.
