Open the path with Traction. Finish the pipe with Cleaning. This matched pair gives a 3/8-inch jetter operator two purpose-built Tier Three tools instead of asking one nozzle to do every job.
What is included
- KEG Traction Nozzle with Forward Jet, 3/8 inch (0010 0009): six rear jets at alternating 8-degree and 12-degree angles provide strong propulsion and a tight cleaning pattern. The forward insert helps establish a path through sand, mud and heavy debris. Best suited to approximately 2-inch to 6-inch pipe.
- KEG Cleaning Nozzle, 3/8 inch (0010 0004): eight rear jets at alternating 15-degree and 25-degree angles deliver the everyday wall-cleaning and debris-flushing pass. Best suited to approximately 3-inch to 8-inch pipe.
Why working plumbers carry both
- First pass — establish flow: run the Traction nozzle when the hose needs pull or the line contains mud, sand or packed debris.
- Second pass — clean and flush: once a pathway exists, run the Cleaning nozzle to wash the pipe wall and carry loosened material out.
This sequence is designed to help complete work in fewer unproductive passes. KEG's optimized internal fluid mechanics reduce turbulence, water loss and energy demand, which can reduce jetter run time and fuel use compared with inefficient drilled nozzles. Actual job time and fuel savings depend on the machine, line and blockage.

Replace the inserts—not the nozzle
Both nozzles use replaceable threaded inserts. Choose steel for the lower initial price or titanium ceramic for longer-lasting jet geometry and wear life. When an insert wears or is damaged, replace the insert rather than discarding the complete nozzle body.
Choose the correct GPM
Your jetter's rated GPM is required. Select 6, 8, 10 or 12 GPM so both nozzles can be supplied for the same machine flow. For the most complete fit check, also provide PSI, hose length and machine make/model when prompted.
