KEG TECHNOLOGIES
KEG’s Royal demonstration compares its water flow with a conventional nozzle. Royal is shown here; other KEG models have different designs.
Demonstrations belong to the credited creators. Machine setup, conditions and supplied assemblies may differ.
Choose by the work you need to do. Then match the exact model and assembly to your machine.
What makes it differentForward cutting jets, a drill point and rear propulsion. The compact ¼- and ⅜-inch models have drilled jets; drill-point replacement starts at ½-inch.
What makes it differentRear jets at 8° and 12° focus on pulling and moving debris. The ⅜-inch model uses replaceable M6 inserts.
What makes it differentRear jets at 15° and 25° give this nozzle a different cleaning pattern from Traction. The ⅜-inch model uses replaceable M6 inserts.
What makes it differentRotating jets for finishing work, grease and scale removal. The ¼- and ⅜-inch models have drilled jets; service parts vary by size.
Links show ⅜-inch examples. Use the Nozzle Finder for another connection or setup; larger sizes can have different construction.
Find your KEG setup →Selection notes: KEG SBK-F26 catalog and the listed Direct Hit assemblies. Product pages show the package and configuration details.
Judge the tool by the work it covers, the parts you can service and the support behind the setup.
KEG: On insert-equipped KEG models, replace the specified inserts while the body remains serviceable. Drilled-jet models have different service needs. Match the part, position and orifice to your nozzle.
KEG insert and fit guide →KEG warranty terms differ for bodies, inserts, rotating parts and used equipment. Manufacturing-defect coverage does not mean unlimited wear coverage.
Read model and component coverage →JPS’s 30-day performance guarantee accepts normal testing wear on a complete eligible nozzle or kit, including supplied inserts. Return all supplied components. Eligibility, exclusions and prepaid-label instructions are in the return policy.
Read the performance guarantee →Look for the exact nozzle and configuration, machine flow and pressure, hose, pipe condition and the work completed. Compare before-and-after inspection of the same section. One successful job does not establish a universal speed, water-use or service-life advantage.
Compare purchase price, replacement parts and service costs over the same number of jobs. Record time and water used on comparable work. A useful cost per job is total tool and service cost divided by jobs completed; any time savings should come from your own measured results.
KEG sewer jetter nozzles bring German engineering to service vans and sewer-cleaning crews. Explore tools for pipe-wall cleaning, traction, penetration, finishing and cutting, with help choosing the right model for your machine.
These are 3/8-inch examples. Choose the connection and configuration for your jetter; Rambo and Rotor models shown here use factory-drilled jets.
The value is in choosing a tool with a defined purpose. A Cleaning nozzle directs jets at the pipe wall; a Traction nozzle is designed for pulling and moving material. Rotating nozzles and chain cutters serve different cleaning and cutting stages. The jet pattern, configuration and application matter more than the brand name alone.
Selected KEG families, including Cleaning and Traction models identified in the catalog, use Tier Three fluid mechanics. That rating does not apply to every KEG nozzle. Some small nozzles use drilled jets, while other models use replaceable steel or ceramic inserts. Review the exact product specifications and the KEG Tier Three explanation. For service parts, use the insert-thread identification guide.
Start with 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch nozzles or plumber kits for your service truck. Explore larger KEG demo, used and refurbished equipment for contractor and municipal applications. Availability and refurbishment details depend on the particular unit.
Replacement inserts are available for serviceable models. KEG steel inserts have a one-year warranty; consult the warranty page for the exact product, insert and condition terms. The equipment range includes genuine KEG products manufactured in Germany, with assembly and support from Spartanburg, South Carolina.
For 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch nozzles, tell us the GPM you want to run. For 1/2-inch and larger, provide GPM and working PSI. Choose the connection size first; each model has its own application and configuration.
Choose a tool for the job, then assess its value by your own cleaning time, water use and maintenance experience. Ask JPS about your setup.
KEG makes sewer-cleaning nozzles and cutters for a range of applications and connection sizes. Its equipment is also listed in MSW’s municipal sewer-nozzle directory. Choose the specific model for your work; designs and service requirements vary.
The practical value is a tool chosen for the task, a matching setup and support after the sale. Job time and water use depend on the machine, line and obstruction.
Compare the job, fit, maintenance and applicable coverage. A brand name or tier alone does not make every model suitable for the same work.
