Find the right replacement insert
Start with the nozzle model or part number and the jet position you are replacing. M5, M6, M8 and M14 refer to insert threads, not the nozzle’s hose connection.
- Identify the nozzle and the front, rear, cutting or rotation jet that needs service.
- Match the specified thread, seat and material to that exact position. A matching thread alone does not establish compatibility.
- Use the approved orifice configuration for your setup. Send your GPM, working PSI and any existing insert markings when requesting parts help; do not choose an orifice diameter by appearance.
Steel inserts have one-year coverage. Applicable KEG titanium ceramic inserts have five-year coverage. See the warranty terms for the exact component.
Replacement parts and insert holders do not turn a factory-drilled nozzle into an insert-ready nozzle.
Replaceable inserts let you service the jets on an insert-equipped nozzle while keeping a body that remains in good condition. Start with the exact KEG part number, then match the insert thread, seat, orifice and jet position. Hose inlet size is a separate specification.

These examples are from SBK-F26 and do not establish compatibility for another size or generation. In particular, 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch Rambo models and Ball nozzles have factory-drilled jets. Do not order rear replacement inserts for them.
Choose the complete insert specification
M5, M6, M8 and M14 identify metric thread sizes; they do not identify the hole diameter that meters water. Front, rotation, cutting and propulsion positions may require different parts. A hex or Allen drive is not proof that two inserts are interchangeable. Send the nozzle part number and existing configuration when asking for replacements.
Steel or titanium ceramic?
Compare the current price of the complete required set, available orifices and maintenance needs for your work. Do not use warranty duration as an assumed service interval. Correct jet sizing and a sound nozzle body matter with either material.
KEG’s published warranty lists one year for steel inserts and five years for titanium ceramic inserts, subject to its terms. Coverage depends on the component and condition; a warranty is not a promise of wear life. See the warranty matrix and JPS’s 30-day nozzle and kit return policy.
Service the cause of a performance change
Reduced performance can come from blockage, wear, a leak, a machine problem or the wrong configuration. Depressurize and isolate the equipment before inspection. Follow the manufacturer’s procedure and use the specified parts; do not enlarge orifices or force an incorrect insert into a seat.
