KEG Egg Nozzle Guide: Sizes, Inserts and Cleaning Jobs

KEG’s Egg is a compact Tier Two cleaning family with replaceable inserts. The catalog describes it as a light, agile all-around nozzle and an upgrade from the drilled Standard. Choose it for an appropriate cleaning or flushing job where its body and operating configuration fit the line.

Cleaning and flushing configurations

SBK-F26 lists 15° jets for flushing and 30° jets for cleaning, with an optional penetrating jet. Confirm the configuration supplied for your particular listing. A forward jet can help open a route; it does not make an Egg interchangeable with a dedicated cutter or every penetrating nozzle.

Catalog sizes and insert patterns

Inlet size / part Jets Insert size Catalog pipe range
3/8-inch / 0010 0211 6 rear + 1 forward M5 2–6 inches
1/2-inch / 0010 0212 4 rear + 1 forward M6 2–6 inches
3/4-inch / 0010 0213 4 rear + 1 forward M6 3–8 inches
1-inch / 0010 0214 4 rear + 1 forward M8 4–10 inches
1-1/4-inch / 0010 0215 6 rear + 1 forward M8 4–12 inches

These are the Egg entries verified in SBK-F26. Do not transfer these specifications to a differently configured store item or another nozzle family. Catalog pipe ranges still require suitable flow, access and pipe condition.

Where the extra spend goes

An insert-equipped Egg allows worn jets to be serviced while the body remains usable. Compare the correct replacement parts and actual service needs with a drilled model. Insert material does not change the Egg family’s Tier Two classification.

KEG’s published warranty lists one year for steel inserts and five years for titanium ceramic inserts, subject to its terms. Coverage depends on the component and condition; a warranty is not a promise of wear life. See the warranty matrix and JPS’s 30-day nozzle and kit return policy.

Simple ordering: for 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch nozzles, enter the GPM you want to run. For 1/2-inch and larger, provide GPM and working PSI. Select the correct hose connection first; model-specific flow limits and pipe suitability still apply. Find your nozzle.

Browse 3/8-inch nozzles, 1/2-inch nozzles or larger contractor equipment. For a complementary blockage tool, read the penetrating-nozzle guide.
