For Homeowners with a Jetter

Stop Running Your Jetter With Junk Nozzles.

You spent $1,500โ€“$3,000 on a Harbor Freight, Bosch, or RYOBI jetter. Then you tried to clear your drain with the cheap nozzle that came in the box. You got nothing โ€” because the nozzle is the part that actually does the work. Pro plumbers know this. Now you can buy the same nozzles they use, sized for your machine, shipped from Spartanburg, SC.

The Honest Truth

Why Your Factory Nozzle Doesn't Work

PROBLEM

It's a $5 drilled body

Your jetter manufacturer included a Tier 1 drilled nozzle โ€” holes drilled into a steel body. About 30% of the water you're pumping turns into useful cleaning thrust. The other 70% is wasted as turbulence and noise.

PROBLEM

Wrong angle for grease

Most factory nozzles spray straight ahead. That punches a hole through soft blockages but leaves the pipe walls coated. The line drains for a week, then re-clogs. You bought a jetter to actually fix this โ€” not band-aid it.

PROBLEM

No replaceable inserts

When a drilled nozzle wears out, the whole thing is trash. A pro Tier 3 nozzle has 7-12 ceramic inserts you can swap with a hex wrench in 30 seconds. The body lasts 5-10 years. Massive long-term savings.

Common Questions

What Homeowners Ask Us

Is buying a pro nozzle worth it for one drain job?
For one job, no โ€” a plumber visit is $200โ€“$500 and you're done. But if you've already bought a jetter for ongoing use, a $200โ€“$400 nozzle pays for itself in 2-3 jobs you'd otherwise pay a plumber for. It also lasts 5+ years with replaceable inserts vs throwing away the factory drilled nozzle every 6-12 months.
Will these nozzles damage my pipes?
No. Drain jetting nozzles are designed to clean PVC, ABS, cast iron, and clay pipes safely at residential pressures (under 4,000 PSI). The water does the work โ€” the nozzle just directs it. Common-sense rule: don't blast at one spot for minutes on end, and don't run a Duce Nozzle in clay pipe. Otherwise you're fine.
What's the difference between Tier 1, 2, and 3?
Tier 1 = drilled holes (~30% efficiency). Tier 2 = replaceable steel inserts (55-65%). Tier 3 = NASSCO-certified ceramic inserts (80-98%). Higher tier = more cleaning power per gallon of water and longer life. For one-or-two-times-a-year homeowner use, Tier 2 is the sweet spot. For frequent drain calls or you really hate plumber bills, Tier 3 pays for itself.
Do I need both a Cleaning Nozzle and a Rambo?
Eventually, yes. They do different jobs. The Cleaning Nozzle scrapes pipe walls โ€” for grease, scale, soap scum (the most common residential drain issue). The Rambo is a penetrating tool for total blockages โ€” root masses, ice plugs, total stoppage. Get whichever fits your most common job first; add the other when you need it.
What if I have a 3/4" or larger jetter?
We sell 1/2" and under online โ€” that covers about 95% of residential and prosumer jetters. If you have a larger 3/4", 1", or 1-1/4" hose machine (mostly commercial-grade trailer jetters), email info@jetterprosupply.com with your machine model and we'll quote larger sizes directly.
