Stop your hose from twisting — and protect it from the inside out. The 1/2" high-pressure swivel lets the nozzle rotate freely while the hose stays stationary. Without one, every rotation the nozzle makes winds up the hose, and over time that twist destroys it from within.
This is one of those parts operators overlook until a hose fails early. Jetter hose isn't built to be twisted; the reinforcement inside is laid to handle pressure, not torque. When a nozzle spins in the line — and many of them do — that rotation transfers straight into the hose as accumulated twist, breaking down the reinforcement from the inside where you can't see it. A swivel decouples the two: the nozzle turns, the hose doesn't, and the twist never builds. It's a small, inexpensive fitting that routinely saves a hose worth many times its price.
