Which Jetter Nozzle Fits My Machine? Hose Size and GPM Guide
Buying by jetter brand? Check the connection first.
Your machine name is a useful starting point. Hose inside diameter, nozzle inlet thread and insert thread are different measurements. Check the hose end you actually use, especially after a hose or reel change.

Once the connection is confirmed, compare the nozzle’s flow range, job and pipe fit. These are machine specifications, not a blanket compatibility claim for every nozzle in a size collection.
Ordering a 1/4-inch or 3/8-inch nozzle? Enter your GPM. For 1/2-inch and larger nozzles, enter GPM and working PSI. If you need help identifying the connection, ask JPS before buying.
Your jetter’s brand name is a starting point, not a nozzle specification. Machines from the same manufacturer can use different pumps, hoses and operating settings. A brand-only compatibility list can send you to the wrong configuration.
Find these details on your own setup
- Hose-end connection: confirm size and thread type. Nozzle inlet threads and small jet-insert threads are different.
- Operating GPM: use the flow you intend to run, checked against the machine’s specification.
- The job: general flushing, penetration, traction, wall finishing or cutting.
- Pipe conditions: diameter, bends, condition and access determine whether a particular body and cleaning method suit the line.
Simple ordering: for 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch nozzles, enter the GPM you want to run. For 1/2-inch and larger, provide GPM and working PSI. Select the correct hose connection first; model-specific flow limits and pipe suitability still apply. Find your nozzle.

- 3/8-inch nozzles: compare individual tools and plumber kits.
- 1/2-inch nozzles: supply GPM and working PSI for the configuration.
- Contractor and municipal equipment: larger nozzles and specialist tools need the complete operating setup reviewed.
If your machine is modified or the label is unclear
A replacement pump, smaller hose, different reel or adapter can change the setup. A pressure washer also needs the appropriate jetting hose and equipment arrangement.
